Finances and annual reports
As an association, we are financed by the contributions paid by our members and – essential for projects in particular – by donations from numerous small and large sponsors. Our association is organized on a purely voluntary basis and can therefore ensure that the funds raised are used exclusively for the purpose of the project. The active members bear their own personal costs.
Transparency is therefore also important to us.
The German-Ghanaian Friendship Circle finances its work from membership fees, project-related contributions from institutional sponsors and donations. If you would like to support our work, you can either transfer a donation directly to one of the specified donation accounts or contact us. You will receive a donation receipt by the end of the calendar year at the latest, which you can submit to your tax office to reduce your tax burden.
Financial reports
- 2006: Special influence due to the construction of the DVTC hostel
- 2007: First-time disclosure of costs for interns
- 2008: Takeover of the DVTC by NYC
- 2009: Annual report “Children’s noise is a thing of the future”
- 2010: Annual report “Children’s noise is a thing of the future” – Project completion
- 2011: Annual report (publication spring 2012) | Review of the year
Note: Until 2009, the balance sheet did not include the expenses incurred by the voluntary work of the Board of Directors and donations in kind. The resolution to amend the Articles of Association in July 2010 (Articles of Association) created the basis for recognizing these expenses on a donation basis. As of 2010, these expenses are therefore included, resulting in a changed structure.
If you have any questions about the association’s finances or your donation receipt, please do not hesitate to contact us. Please understand that, for organizational reasons, we send out donation receipts for the entire year at the beginning of the following year.
