German Ghanaian International School
To all projects21. June 2025

One of our main tasks as the German Ghanaian Friendship Association is to maintain our German Ghanaian International School (GGIS) in Atwima-Denchemouso. From kindergarden and preschool to primary school and secondary school classes, the GGIS covers a child’s entire school career. German lessons at the school are based on the Goethe Institute curriculum. They are open not only to school members, but to anyone interested in learning German.
We not only promote and support the school itself, but also facilitate school projects, promote sustainability at the school and offer interested parties the opportunity to support the GGIS in a very concrete way by sponsoring a child for a school year. As the German Ghanaian Friendship Association, we also offer young people internships and voluntary placements at our school, which also enable them to get to know the culture and the country.
The German Ghanaian International School in Atwima-Denchemouso and the Emanuel von Seidl Primary School in Murnau are linked by a close and lively school partnership with joint projects and mutual exchanges.
